In a Pickle, which will turn you and your kiddos into lawyers — no joke. It's the perfect game to teach kids to be able to explain their thoughts and persuade others. If your mini is convincing enough, they may be able to get you to believe that a sofa can fit into a shopping cart.
A Mall Madness game so you can merge your love of board games with your love of shopping. Do you feel that? That's the nostalgia flooding in.
A vintage bookshelf edition of Mystery Date that'll be way more aesthetically pleasing on your shelves than other board games. Very cutesy, very mindful, veryyyy demure. And of course, verrrryyyy fun.
To play, pass out all of the cards to players and have everyone keep their pile face down. Everyone takes turns putting a card in the middle while saying "taco," "cat," "goat," "cheese," and "pizza" in that order. If the picture on the card that's placed down matches the word that's been said, everyone races to slap the center pile of cards, and whoever slaps the pile last has to add the center pile to their personal pile. Oh! And there's also "narwhal," where everyone makes a unicorn horn with their hands clapped together above their heads; "gorilla," where everyone bangs on their chest like a gorilla; and "groundhog," where everyone has to knock on the table. Whoever does the motion last picks up the center pile. Whoever runs out of cards first wins! You can play with three to eight players, and the *recommended* age is 8+.
Promising review: "My kids (ages 7–13) LOVE this game, and it’s incredibly fast and easy to learn (as opposed to so many games these days). We love how loud and silly it gets. We’ve played with groups of adults, and they seem to enjoy it as much as the kids do! We will keep this game in rotation for a long time." —Dear_Jane

Recommended for adults, but it's honestly suitable for all. Your group (7–35 people are recommended; the more, the better!!) will decide on who will be the narrator. The narrator then gets the included script card that explains the flow of the game in steps and passes out cards with your character. You're either a villager, a werewolf, a doctor, or a seer (there's a town drunk, but we usually throw that card out). Depending on how many people you have, the narrator can decide how many of each character there is. The villagers' role is to survive and figure out who's a werewolf. The werewolf's role is to eat people without getting caught and convince everyone that other people are the werewolf. The doctor gets to save someone in the group, making that player safe that round, and the seer can ask the narrator which person is the werewolf and use that info to their advantage. If, by the end, the villagers get out all of the wolves, the villagers win, but if the wolves are persuasive enough and trick all the villagers, the werewolves win.
This was my personal favorite game to play with the kids at my old part-time. We all LOVE this game, from the kindergarteners to the fifth graders to us counselors! It's such a fun mystery game, and once you get the hang of it, you can add your own lil' spice to it and make it silly. I literally ALWAYS asked the kids if they wanted to play Werewolf, and I could spend hours playing. It was our school fave, in fact, my kiddos were over my shoulder totally agreeing with me when I wrote this, lol.
Promising review: "This is a great game for kids of all ages. We use it on scout campouts, and it allows 10-year-olds to play with 17-year-olds. Adults can play, too. Lots of laughing and fun had by all." —Amazon Customer

It's so easy to play! Everyone gets three chips (or dollar bills), and everyone takes turns rolling the dice. There are three dice and each has either the letter "L" for left, "R" for right, and "C" for center, and the rest of the sides have dots on them. You roll the dice, and you put a chip wherever the dice say to. For example, if you roll an "L" and a "C" you'll pass a chip to your left and put one in the center pot. Once you're out of chips (or money), you're out of the game, but you can easily get back in if someone from your right or left passes to you. The last one standing wins the pot! Recommended for ages 5+.
My family loves to play games at get-togethers, and this one has become our favorite. Everyone gets involved, from my younger cousins to my 64-year-old aunts. We play with money in my family so at the end, you win the cash in the center. It gets INTENSE, for sure! This game is such a good time and it's seriously so easy. At my baby cousin's 6th birthday party, she was playing this game with all the adults like this was one of her party games, lol. Holidays are coming up, and if you're hosting, I highly suggest grabbing this and telling everyone to bring three $1 bills each. It's perfect because you can play with a lot of people, up to 100 to be exact! Everyone will be talking about it after, I promise.

To play, everyone will be given caption cards. A meme picture will be put on the mini easel, and players will all match a caption card to that meme. An appointed judge will decide which combo is funniest, and whoever wins that round gets to judge next and keeps the meme. The player with the most memes at the end wins! Recommended for ages 8+.
LOVE THIS GAME. I make a SpongeBob reference at least five times a day so I knew I'd enjoy this. The memes and quotes in this game are *chef's kiss*. If you're a fan of the show, there's no way you won't enjoy it. I played this game with a group of third graders (I worked in a daycare for 11 years) for an hour and a half for a week straight, and I, the adult who still drinks Capri-Suns, did not get tired of it. It's really so much fun! If you like the original What Do You Meme? game and love the little square dude and all his under the sea friends, give this a try!

"I got this as a Lego fan but wanted to put it together with my children. Though I played with Legos as a child, this is my first Lego build that was a specific build (as opposed to a random build with random blocks). This was such a fun experience, instructions were simple enough that a 7-year-old was able to participate. I would love to make this a tradition with the kids." —DaBlackestMic

This is *also* one of my favorite games. I LOVED playing this game at my part-time job. My boss even let me take it home one weekend for a game night I had with my adult-aged cousins and they were also obsessed. It's super easy, but there were some questions we'd have to skip, like "a competitive reality TV show," because the younger kids didn't have answers. But for the most part, easy enough for even first graders to play. Pro tip, sit next to the person who thinks most like you. One of my coworkers and I were always the ones to win because we share our last two brain cells so all of our answers always matched up. It'll *easily* become a family game night favorite.

You can purchase the disc drive later if you really need it. Eventually, you may need an external storage drive unless you are someone who only plays three games at a time. Also, downloading games is extremely fast. Overall, love this thing." —roynik12

So, to play, you'll be dealt cards, and four cards will be set in the middle of everyone. Players will go around, taking turns putting cards on top of or under the four cards in the middle. *But* the catch is if you put your card under, it has to be bigger than the card you put it under, and if you put it over the card, it has to be bigger. Players can challenge your answer and decide collectively if they'll let your answer slide. Circling back to my example above, say the card in the middle is "sofa," and you put "shopping cart" over top of it. You can argue that the sofa is a toy sofa or maybe a dog sofa. If you put a card under "sofa," it'd have to be a smaller object, like a penny. Once one of the original cards has become a set of four, players will all go around putting a card that is bigger than the last card in the set (or forfeit). The player who puts the last card in the stack wins that set of cards, and the player with the most stacks at the end wins! Recommended for ages 10+.
Hello, me again, your favorite daycare counselor. I worked with elementary school-aged kids for 11 years, and basically, all we did was play. This game is fun as heck, probably one of my faves. So much fun that the building service manager of the school I worked at would even come in and join in on all the excitement. I always asked the kids at work if they wanted to play this, and they would happily play my entire shift. I probably loved this more than the kiddos, lol. I also def played this with kids younger than 10. I miss playing this so much that it's currently in my cart. I know it'll be a hit for game nights with friends and family.
Promising review: "Absolutely love this game. Played with five kids ages 8–17 and had a blast. I also played with adults ages 20–40, and it was so much fun! It's a little tricky at first because you have to read all the directions and get the rules clear so everyone knows how to play, but once you’ve got it down, it’s so much fun. Would highly recommend." —Alicia Guzman

I definitely played this my entire life. As a kid, playing with my cousins got so wild I'd finish the game with battle wounds — bites, nails dug into my skin, ya know, typical cousin stuff — all over a freakin' spoon. At work, as an adult, when we wanted to spice things up, we played ~extreme Spoons~ — same rules except someone *who is not playing* hides the spoons, and everyone has to run around and try to find them. If you do grab this game you should totally give it a try! To play the regular way, collect four of the same cards and grab a spoon. If you see another player has grabbed a spoon, grab one, too, before they're all gone! Whoever ends up without a spoon is out. To win, just never be caught without a spoon! Recommended for ages 7+.
Promising reviews: "We play this all the time. Both the adults and children get excited when it's time to grab a spoon. Lots of fun." —Babette Dacheux
"Played this with 9-year-old twins. Easy to understand directions. A great time was had by all. Lots of interactive fun between children and adults." —Anne W.

The little LCD screens on the vest keep count of how many lives you have, and the vest vibrates when you get shot/tagged. Promising review: "We love the simplicity of this product. The chest piece fits all sizes, and the laser tag guns are not so real that you are afraid to let kids play with them. There's even a laser beam sound effect if you don’t like the cracking sound of gunfire. It is exactly as it was listed. We get over 150 feet of range on cloudy days at dusk. We use it in our yard and in the woods. This is not just fun for kids — the adults in our family are having just as much fun. The seller was very easy to work with and very responsive to customer care and satisfaction, which I find very gratifying. Well packaged, we would definitely buy from them again. Thanks." —Risky business

Promising review: "Played this with my 9-year-old and 4-year-old daughters. It is harder for my 4-year-old because she can't read, but I helped her out, and she still had a lot of fun. We had a blast playing. The first time they played Clue. Clue is my favorite game so I totally had to get this. And I love the spin on it, so it's more villain-based. Promising review: "I bought this game for my 7-year-old, soon-to-be super shopper daughter, and this has become a destination game in our household. With a max of four players, this game is a joy for the entire family. The rules are simple: listen to the mall intercom for where the hot deals are, shop ’til you drop, and make it out of the mall with full bags before anyone else. There is just enough randomness in the automated game running hub to ensure that each game will be different from the last, and when it's all said and done, this 25-minute game will leave everyone smiling. The game setup is a little daunting at first, but nothing to the level of Mouse Trap, and after the first time, it's simple enough for the younger ones to do. As a father, I love this game, and even better, my kids love it." —Hans VanHoekendorfer

I found this game because some kids I nannied had it. I used to pick them up from school and rush them to do their homework so we could play this all evening. It's so much fun and super funny! It comes with five different games. Quiplash is a say-anything question game, Trivia Murder Party involves matching wits with a trivia-obsessed murderer, Guesspionage is a silly survey game, Tee K.O. is a T-shirt battle to the death, and in Fakin' it, you're figuring out which player has something to hide.
