DreamWorks’ ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ Balloon Set for 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade | Animation World Network

Gabby and her best friend Pandy Paws are set to soar through the streets of New York City, with festivities to air November 28 on NBC and stream on Peacock.

DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures are set to kick off a cat-tastic holiday season with the first-ever Gabby’s Dollhouse balloon, to be featured in the 98thMacy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The balloon features Gabby and her best stuffed animal friend Pandy Paws.

Now streaming on Netflix, the DreamWorks’ series centers on Gabby, a young girl who adores cats, cooking, crafting and being with her friends. She is positive, determined, embraces imperfection, and celebrates mistakes, turning them into opportunities for growth.

“Since 1924, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has featured entertainment’s most exciting and recognizable characters, which is why we’re delighted to welcome Gabby and Pandy Paws to this year’s fantastic lineup,” said Jordan Dabby, producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “This Thanksgiving, fans across the country, along with enthusiastic crowds in New York City, will be excited to see Gabby take flight and spread positivity, joy, and of course, holiday cheer in this year’s Parade.”

The live action/animation hybrid preschool series is known for its colorful, animated world filled with adorable cat characters that live inside Gabby’s dollhouse. The show, created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, recently premiered its milestone Season 10 on Netflix.

The series has inspired an award-winning toy line, books, apparel, home decor, and more. Additionally, Gabby’s Dollhouse has expanded through Universal Destinations & Experiences theme parks, global fan experiences, and live events, with more adventures on the horizon — including Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, heading to theaters September 26, 2025.
